Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
